I lead teams building cloud-native systems people rely on.

I'm a full-stack software engineer and team lead based in Davao City, Philippines, with almost five years designing, scaling, and maintaining cloud-native enterprise systems — the kind that have to stay fast and reliable under real production load.

At Crescendo Collective I lead six developers and two QA engineers replatforming Opella's global consumer-healthcare brands onto headless Next.js, Magnolia CMS, and Azure. I own the architecture end to end, plan the workstreams, and review the code that ships.

My home turf is Java and Spring Boot paired with React and Next.js, and I've shipped across healthcare, banking, aerospace, public-sector, and e-commerce. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in Computer Science from Ateneo de Davao University, and I care most about the unglamorous things that make software durable: clean architecture, performance, and observability.

- Lead six developers and two QA engineers migrating Opella's global consumer-healthcare brand portfolio from legacy FreeMarker Magnolia to a headless Next.js architecture on Azure.
- Own the architecture end to end — multi-brand theming, Zod-validated CMS adapters, and three-layer ISR caching across CDN, Next.js data cache, and an in-memory Magnolia client.
- Directed pre-cutover validation of roughly 3,600 data points across 49 URLs, closing 5 analytics defects and clearing the migration with zero regressions.
- Led the Astronautics modernization to Java 25 and Next.js, cutting data-export queries by 76% (17s → 4s) and AWS spend by 12%, with centralized Grafana/Loki observability.

A global healthcare brand portfolio, rebuilt headless.

Opella's consumer-healthcare brands, including Dulcolax and Enterogermina, are moving from legacy FreeMarker Magnolia templates to a headless Next.js architecture on Azure: one codebase, many brands, and a cutover that couldn't afford to break analytics or SEO.
